Athlete Story – Rachelle

I first came to CrossFit because my husband had been working out for some time, so I decided to go watch him one day! I ended up starting the foundations class that same day!

My first impression was that I was so out of shape and way overweight. I had a lot of doubt in the beginning. Now I am down 25 pounds and lifting more thanĀ  I have ever been able to!

My first bright spot was probably my first box jump! Considering my first attempt ever I fell flat on my face;)

Now, I’m trying to work on technique and lifting heavier.

I would have to say my favorite memory at CFFC was doing my very first competition at our gym and not placing last!
